Sharing Track Codes in a Community: A Small Etiquette Guide
PolyTrack's track editor lets players export a track as a text code that others can import. Sharing codes is how community tracks spread, and a little care makes them much more useful.
When you share
- Name the track and say what it is: short sprint, technical, jumps, beginner-friendly.
- Include your best time, so others have a target.
- Test it once more after exporting. Import your own code to confirm it works.
- Paste the full code in a code block so chat apps don't break it.
When you import
- Credit the creator if you share a time or a remix.
- Ask before reposting someone's track as your own collection.
- Report broken codes kindly; often a character was lost in copy-paste.
Remixing
Remixes are part of the fun. Say what you changed and link the original.
